Jack Hatfield, the designer of this image, created very few concert posters in his career, but they include FD-76, FD-87, BG-103, BG-104, and the gorgeous AOR 2.317/2.318 Magic Mountain piece. Quicksilver Messenger Service headlined this show with Melvin Q and The Other Half providing the warm-up acts.
The original poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 13⅞″ x 20″.
The postcard comes in three varieties, all of which measure approximately 5″ x 7″:
The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.
The Type B card has a bulk rate permit on the back.
The Type C card has a bulk rate permit on the back and was mechanically addressed and sent to people on the Family Dog mailing list.
