The FD-D2 is the first in the series of posters designed for the Family Dog location at 1601 West Evans in Denver, Colorado. It is a great-looking poster that was designed by George Hunter and Michael Ferguson of The Charlatans, who are listed as one of the acts. Joining The Charlatans for this September 15-16, 1967 appearance were Quicksilver Messenger Service and Superband.
The original poster was printed on tan stock and measures approximately 15″ x 23″.
The postcard has a blank back and measures approximately 4″ x 6⅝″.
