This interesting image looks like a hooded robe surrounding an image of a capitol building; a crowd of people; a statue of Jesus; and some architectural features, including an arch. Singer was fond of using an arch in his collages. He also used an arch on BG-178. This is a captivating image that begs the viewer to look deeper.
The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 13⅞″ x 22″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-182 and 183 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
