Designed by Randy Tuten for a series of September 1969 shows at The Fillmore. Printing this poster only in black ink was one of the ways Bill Graham tried to cut costs. Fortunately, this experiment didn't last long, and the posters quickly returned to their colorful ways.
The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed that bears the images of both BG-191 and 192 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
