Fillmore West 1/29-2/1/70

Steve Miller and Sha Na Na appeared in early 1970 for a four-day engagement at The Fillmore. David Singer designed this interesting piece that shows a hand placing a quartered globe into the sand. Singer's lettering changed a bit from earlier posters and one must look a little harder to decipher some of the wording.

The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 22″.

The second print poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 22″. This printing is differentiated by the presence of a small print flaw in the left leg of the "V" in "Steve".

The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7⅛″.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-214 and 216 and measures approximately 7⅛″ x 9¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
