Winterland ,Oakland Coliseum 11/6-8/69

Catalog No. BG-199

By the time this concert took place in 1969, Led Zeppelin was in full swing - both on tour and in the studio. The album, Led Zeppelin II, had reached the number one position on both the U.S. and U.K. charts. On the tours at this time, Led Zeppelin often played in smaller clubs and ballrooms, but its popularity soon grew to the point where it played larger auditoriums and stadiums. This poster also advertised the Rolling Stones show the following week at Oakland Coliseum, which is represented by the BG-201 poster in the Bill Graham series.

The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 13¾″ x 21½″.

The second print poster is a limited-edition silkscreen and is much larger than the original poster.

The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7⅛″.

A double postcard was also printed that bears the images of both BG-199 and 200 and measures approximately 7⅛″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
