Oakland Coliseum 11/9/69

BG-201 marks the first time that the Rolling Stones performed for Bill Graham, and the first time that Graham booked a huge venue like the Oakland Coliseum. This same image also was used for BG-202, when the Stones went to San Diego for a one-day show. This image was printed twice, and even though the first print run was 3,000 posters, they are very scarce today.

The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21⅞″. Original posters have a series of small printing flaws in the upper right border, and many also have a second flaw in the border at the lower right corner of the photograph.

The second print poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 22″. The second print was printed on a sheet of two posters as there are two different types; these are listed as RP-2 and RP-3 in Eric King's guide. Neither reprint has the printing flaws described above.

The postcard has a blank reverse and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7⅜″.
