Winterland 6/6 & 8/72

This image was created by David Singer and used for a June 1972 Show at Winterland that featured the Rolling Stones. The original posters were printed on a slightly thinner stock than most other pieces of the day. A more fragile paper stock and a low print run contribute to the scarcity today.

The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 22″ x 27⅞″. All originals have a white line on the lower left side of the upper die that divides it from the background which is an error in the pre-press work.

The second print poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 21⅞″ x 27⅞″. There is no white line on the lower left edge of the upper die.

Both the original and the second print have a white line on the upper left edge of the upper die, but it is much narrower on the reprint.
