Fillmore Auditorium 4/22-23/66

The BG-0 poster was actually used for a show one week after the BG-3, but it was never given a number. Designed by Bonnie MacLean, the poster features Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Family Tree, and The Grass Roots.

The original poster comes in two varieties:

The Type 1 original is printed on thin (.0080″), yellow-colored stock and measures approximately 12⅝″ x 18″. The 1″ long vertical line above the “M” in “Auditorium” is not straight, and zigzags from left to right.

The Type 2 original is printed on thicker stock (.0105″), and measures approximately 12⅝″ x 18½″. The line above the “M” in “Auditorium” described above is almost perfectly straight. This version is far tougher to find than the Type 1.

The original handbill was printed on thin yellow stock and measures approximately 6″ x 9″. These handbills were printed in pairs and have slight variations between individual pairs. More information concerning these differences can be found in Eric King’s book.
