Fillmore Auditorium 8/19-20/66

The classic psychedelic design by Wes Wilson incorporates his trademark rolling lettering, which surrounds a photograph of The Young Rascals. By the time The Young Rascals appeared at this show, they were riding high on the success of their #1 single, Good Lovin,' and had released a couple of other singles. By April 1967, they had another #1 hit with Groovin,' followed by a succession of Top 20 hits. In 1997, The Young Rascals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with Steven Van Zandt delivering their introduction.

The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. The Union logo #221 appears in the lower left corner.

The second print poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. The Union logo has been deleted. The second print posters were printed by West Coast Litho.

The third print poster was printed on smooth, uncoated index stock and measures approximately 13¾″ x 20½″. The third print posters were printed by Creative Litho.

The original handbill was printed on thin yellow paper in green ink and measures approximately 5½″ x 8½″.

The postcard comes in two types, both of which measure approximately 5⅛″ x 8″:

The Type A card was printed concurrent with the second print poster and has a “West Coast Litho” credit on the reverse.

The Type B card was printed concurrent with the third print poster and has a “Creative Litho” credit on the reverse.
