Fillmore Auditorium ,Winterland 11/9/67
Catalog No. BG-92
Nicholas Kouninos designed this beauty for a trio of shows featuring Pink Floyd and Procol Harum. This was the first show for the British-based Procol Harum and the band credited The Fillmore with helping to create its style. This is a gorgeous and very popular poster with a wizard-like figure holding a gem up to a gryphon’s head.
The original poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.
The postcard has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4½″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-91 and 92 and measures approximately 4½″ x 14″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
