Similar in style to the BG-255 poster, this image is of the head and arm of Michelangelo’s David. A faceted diamond appears in two of the corners. The Kinks and Elton John shared the billing for this November 1970 series of shows.
The original poster was printed on coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed that bears the images of both BG-255 and 256 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
