Catalog No. BG-229
Singer used a play-on-words, incorporating Mount Rushmore along with The Stonemans, a country music band that opened for Joe Cocker and Van Morrison. This collage features some thought-provoking imagery, including two gorillas, a hatching bird, a house cat, a hummingbird, and a nude woman in the background.
The original poster was printed on coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21⅞″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7¼″.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-229 and 231 and measures approximately 7¼″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
