Fillmore Auditorium 9/2-5/66
The original poster was printed on several different types of paper and measures approximately 13⅜″ x 20⅞″. The most commonly seen stock is extremely thin (.0050″), but this poster was also printed on thicker (.0070-75″) stock. The determining criteria for a poster to be an original is the absence of the notation “#26” that was later scratched into the plate.
The second print poster was printed on vellum and measures approximately 13⅜″ x 21″. The notation “#26” has been scratched into the plate after the “Wes Wilson ’66” credit.
The third print poster was printed on thick (.0090″) index stock and measures approximately 13⅜″ x 20⅞″. This printing also has the “#26” notation scratched into the plate.
The original handbill comes in two types:
The Type A handbill was printed on the same thin stock as the original poster and measures approximately 5⅛″ x 8¾″. These handbills were cut in two different ways, resulting in either a 1⅛″ border above the image and a narrow border below, or a narrow border above the image and a 1⅛″ border below.
The Type B handbill was printed on thicker stock that matches the original posters and measures approximately 4⅞″ x 7½″.
The postcards also come in two different types:
The Type A card measures approximately 5″ x 8¼″ and comes with a 1⅛″ border above the image and a narrow border below, or a narrow border above the image and a 1⅛″ border below.
The Type B card measures approximately 5⅛″ x 7½″.
