This extremely popular poster features a photograph of a very young Jerry Garcia as the central image. The Dead was still a local band at the time of this concert, but it had developed a large following. Lightnin' Hopkins was on the bill along with local favorite Loading Zone. The original posters for this image were printed on two different paper stocks, but both are pre-show first printings.

The original poster was printed on two different paper stocks:

The Type 1 original was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 13¾″ x 22⅛″.

The Type 2 original was printed on a more porous, coarser stock and measures approximately 13¾″ x 22½″.

The second print poster was printed on uncoated stock that is both smoother and thicker than that used for the Type 1 original. This printing measures approximately 13⅝″ x 22⅛″.

In 1985, Wes Wilson authorized a reprint using blue lettering on a red background. This poster measures approximately 13½″ x 21⅞″.

The original handbill was printed on both paper stocks used for the original posters and measures approximately 5¼″ x 8″.

The postcards come in two types:

The Type A card was printed on the same stock as the Type 1 original poster and measures approximately 4¾″ x 8″.

The Type B card was printed on the same stock as the Type 2 original poster and measures approximately 5⅛″ x 8″.
