David Singer designed this popular poster for a two-week run at The Fillmore in early 1971. The design is a departure for Singer because he did not use his trademark hieroglyphic-style lettering. He opted for a rounder style more suited to the design.
The original poster was printed with BG-267 and measures approximately 21″ x 27⅞″. Most copies are uncut, but cut copies do exist.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed that bears the images of both BG-266 and 267 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
