Fillmore Auditorium 5/16-18/68

Wilfred Weisser created this design for a Country Joe appearance at The Fillmore in May 1968. The interesting design features an octopus whose tentacles hold the key to the performer's names.

The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 13⅞″ x 21⅛″.

The postcard comes in two varieties, both of which measure approximately 4⅝″ x 7⅛″:

The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.

The Type B card has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-119 and 120 and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 14⅜″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
