Catalog No. BG-97
Stanley Mouse's first creation in the Bill Graham series, BG-97, was created without Alton Kelley. The design features collage-like elements surrounded by an art deco border. Mouse referred to this image as his "Haiku poem . . . a series of visual symbols."
The original poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 12¾″ x 21¾″.
The postcard has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4¼″ x 7″. Some postcards exist with a blank back.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-97 and 98 and measures approximately 4½″ x 14″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
