Fillmore West 7/1-6/69

As time went by at the Bill Graham organization, cost-cutting methods were put into place and advertising multiple shows on one poster became the rule. Here, Singer designed an image that has no relation to any of the bands advertised, but he created a pun known as Two Lips/Tulips.

The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 22″. All originals have a faint vertical blue line in the right margin approximately two inches from the top.

The second print poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 22″.

The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-180 and 181 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
