"What was he thinking?"This might be your first reaction to this Lee Conklin design. Clasped hands and floating fingers among clouds of bands names make up the central image, followed by a landscape of more band names hidden at the bottom. Bold colors and wild art combine to make this a very popular poster that is difficult to find these days.

The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.

The postcard comes in two varieties, both of which measure approximately 4⅝″ x 7⅛″:

The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.

The Type B card has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-131 and 132 and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 14½″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
