The central image on this Bonnie MacLean design is a human/alien face on a stellar landscape. The illustration displays intricate patterning above fairly readable lettering for a six-night show with the Butterfield Blues Band, the Roland Kirk Quartet, the New Salvation Army Band, and Mount Rushmore. MacLean considers this one of her favorite posters.
The original poster was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.
The postcard has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4½″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-72 and 73 and measures approximately 4½″ x 14″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
