Fillmore Auditorium ,Winterland 3/14/68
Catalog No. BG-111
This design was created by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley for a Traffic show in March 1968. Bob Seidemann took the central photograph, which features the artists at Playland in San Francisco. Mouse designed this piece to look like a wrestling poster and Bill Graham apparently did not like the concept very much.
The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21⅛″.
The second print poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21⅛″.
The postcard has a “place stamp here” reverse and measures approximately 4½″ x 7⅛″.
A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-111 and 112 and measures approximately 4½″ x 14¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
