The BG-2 “Batman” poster is one of the tougher posters in the Bill Graham series. The original posters are extremely rare; the second prints very rare; and the third prints are quite scarce. In one of the odder concert promotions we have heard of, Bill Graham decided that giving away a talking Mynah bird would increase attendance. The Batman theme came about because they also showed some Batman movies and offered free comic books for those in attendance.

The original poster was printed on gold/tan stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. The image that appears on the original is slightly smaller than on the second and third printings.

The second print poster is printed on gold/tan stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. The Union logo #221 appears in the bottom margin.

The third print poster was printed on gold/tan stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. There is no Union logo and the image is slightly larger than that found on the original.

The original handbill was printed on thin tan paper and measures approximately 6″ x 8⅜″. These were printed before the show and are very rare.

The postcard was printed on tan card stock and measures approximately 5⅛″ x 7⅛″. These were printed after the show.
