David Singer used a number of religious themes on his posters. This poster's central image comprises Moses holding the Ten Commandments with a looming cloud as the background. Perhaps there was a play on the names of a couple of the bands - the Sea Island Singers and Clouds. Because this poster was printed only once, it is difficult to find in top condition.
The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21⅞″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4½″ x 7⅛″.
A double postcard was also printed that bears the images of both BG-225 and 226 and measures approximately 7⅛″ x 9″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
