Fillmore West 4/10-13/69

Jeff Beck headlined this April 1969 engagement at The Fillmore West. Randy Tuten’s design features a sleek-looking train surrounded by pipes and lighting. Also on the bill was Aynsley Dunbar, a well-known drummer of the day who played with such greats as John Mayall, Frank Zappa, David Bowie, Lou Reed, and many others.

The original poster was printed on slick, glossy-coated index stock and measures approximately 13″ x 21⅛″.

The postcard comes in two varieties, both of which measure approximately 4⅝″ x 7″:

The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.

The Type B card has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back.

A double postcard was also printed. This card bears the images of both BG-168 and 169 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. It has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
