This collage was designed in the shape of a tombstone and features an odd assortment of images: a pair of hands on a steering wheel, a gun pointed at the viewer, and a hat atop the gun. John Mayall headlined the shows, backed up by Larry Coryell and Argent.
The original poster was printed on glossy index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed that bears the images of both BG-227 and 228 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
