Willyum Rowe created the BG-283 image, which recalls the flower power of the early days. What appear to be simple designs around the borders are actually stylized insects. Albert King headlined this show.
The original poster was printed on coated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 21¼″.
The postcard has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the back and measures approximately 4⅝″ x 7″.
A double postcard was also printed that bears the images of both BG-283 and 284 and measures approximately 7″ x 9¼″. This card has a bulk rate permit on the back. In addition, some copies were addressed and mailed to people on the mailing list.
