The Grateful Dead was the most famous band from California in the Pacific Northwest during this time period, partly because many of the Dead's crew members came from Oregon. This image appears like a "Wanted" or "Notice" sign advertising the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service Tour of the Great Pacific Northwest. These appear with six different venues and show dates and were designed by George Hunter.

January 30, 1968 - EMU Ballroom, University of Oregon, Eugene, OR. Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service and PH Phactor Jug Band
February 2-3, 1968 - Crystal Ballroom, Portland, OR. Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service and PH Phactor Jug Band
February 4, 1968 - Britt Ballroom, South Oregon College Gym, Ashland, OR. Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service
The original posters were printed on tan stock and measure approximately 13" x 19".
The original handbills were printed on tan stock and measure approximately 6" x 10".
