The Dinosaurs were one of the first “Supergroups” comprised of members of already successful bands. Peter Albin from Big Brother, John Cipollina from Quicksilver, Spencer Dryden from Jefferson Airplane, Robert Hunter from the Grateful Dead, and Barry Melton from Country Joe & The Fish comprised this group, which was formed in 1982. The band toured a fair amount and released one studio album. This poster was designed by Alton Kelley and was used for an April 1984 show at the Kabuki Theater in San Francisco.
The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 15¼" x 21".
