Fillmore Auditorium San Francisco, CA 1/14/66

Catalog No. AOR 2.38

This intriguing historical piece promoted the third Appeals show that was produced by Bill Graham for the San Francisco Mime Troupe. The event took place at the Fillmore Auditorium on January 14, 1966 and featured Great Society, Mystery Trend, and the Grateful Dead (formerly known as the Warlocks). This show predates the first Bill Graham (BG-1) show at The Fillmore by about two weeks. Among collectors, the rarity of these Appeals items is legendary.

The original handbill was printed on white stock and measures approximately 6¼" x 9½".
