This is probably one of Gary Grimshaw’s best designs, as well as one of the most popular Grateful Dead posters. The whimsical design with intertwined guitars and flying hearts is like a comic book illustration. It is unknown what the original print run was, but owing to the scarcity of this poster today, it could not have been very large. This poster was reprinted as part of the PCL series in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 16⅝″ x 22″.
The reprint poster measures approximately 20″ x 26″ and is hand-signed and numbered by Gary Grimshaw. This is known as PCL-139
