Known as the Trans Continental Pop Festival (or “Festival Express”), this series of concerts were slated to be held at various Canadian venues during late June and early July 1970.The lineup at these shows was nothing less than extraordinary, and included Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, The Band and many others.
