Straight Theater 9/21/67

This interesting poster for the Straight Theater was designed by Randy Salas and features an Egyptian theme. Entitled “The Equinox of the Gods,” this poster was used to advertise a show featuring Kenneth Anger, Congress of Wonders, The Charlatans, the San Francisco Mime Troupe, and others. The design is very nicely done and the poster looks great. The Straight was not a large venue and these posters were printed in small quantities. This, combined with the large size, makes these very difficult to find today.

The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 20¾" x 28½".
