A birthday party for the Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins was the occasion for this event that featured Big Brother & The Holding Company at the California Hall in July 1966. Also appearing on the bill were The Charlatans and Great Society, with lights and visuals by Elias Romero and Ray Anderson. At this show, Grace Slick was still with Great Society and Janis Joplin had joined Big Brother—quite the show!
