Big Brother and the Holding Company at Stockton CIvic Auditorium 4/16/67 by Stanley Mouse

Catalog No. AOR-3.22

PPosters from the Central Valley of California are pretty scarce, but there were a number of concerts held in such towns as Stockton, Modesto, and Fresno. This poster was designed by none other than Stanley Mouse, and was used to advertise a psychedelic dance and light show at the Stockton Civic Auditorium. The central design pictures a stern-looking warrior holding an axe over his shoulder. The design is quite a departure from most of Mouse’s work - especially when compared to posters he did during the same time period for the Avalon Ballroom.

The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 14″x 20″.
