TThis is one of the more famous posters designed by Jim Phillips. It was used to promote the second annual KFAT Halloween Party at the Boulder Creek Theater in 1977. The central image pictures a witch stirring her cauldron with an electric guitar and has the band names in flaming type. This poster was reprinted by the artist, but it is quite easy to tell the originals from the reprints.
The original poster was printed on yellow stock and measures approximately 11″ x 17″. The originals are numbered on the back with a stamp.
The second print poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 15″ x 24″. The notation “1977-2” appears in the lower left corner.
