TThis bizarre poster was used to promote a Leo Kottke show at the Armadillo. The Jim Franklin design features a central image of the Mona Lisa with a machine gun and a jar of Vaseline. The inspiration came from a Kottke quote: “Vaseline Machine Gun - For waking up nude in a sleeping bag on the shore of the Atlantic surrounded by a volleyball game at high noon, and for the end of the volleyball game.”

The original poster was printed on beige stock and measures approximately 11″ x 16⅝″.
