The so-called (?) print poster is printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 12⅝″ x 21″. The triangle in the upper left corner is black and serves as a background for the Family Dog logo. Many experts believe that this is not a reprint, but rather an original. While no conclusive proof has surfaced, a major San Francisco Website calls these originals and sells them as such. Whatever the case may be, the posters with the red triangle are much scarcer than the ones with the black triangle.

The true second print poster was printed on index stock and measures approximately 12⅝″ x 21 ″. The stock that was used for this printing has a slight sheen to it when viewed from the back.

The postcard comes in many varieties, all of which measure approximately 5″ x 7″. There are too many varieties to list here, so we list only the three major types:

The Type A card has a “place stamp here” reverse.

The Type B card has a bulk rate permit on the back.

The Type C card has a bulk rate permit on the back and was mechanically addressed and sent to people on the Family Dog mailing list.
