WWhile not produced to promote a concert, this handbill was created by Stanley Mouse and appears in The Art of Rock. This image was used to promote the “Cosmic Car Show,” held at Muir Beach in 1967. Mouse and his partner, Alton Kelley, were judges at the car show, and both had long-standing associations with hot-rodding and t-shirt art.
The original poster was printed on white stock and measures approximately 17″ x 22″.
There is a forgery of the poster that bears the credit “The San Francisco Poster Co.”
